Wordmark on the Ground
The projection photo shows a TESLA wordmark beside an open Model Y door. This aftermarket lamp effect adds a wordmark at the factory puddle-light position; actual appearance depends on alignment, the ground surface and surrounding light.
Select Existing Lamp Positions
The two-piece set is for the front doors. The four-piece set is for vehicles with compatible factory lamps in the front and rear doors. For the described Model 3 Highland application, choose the front set rather than attempting to add missing rear lamps.
Connector and Housing Match

Installation
- Park the vehicle. Open the relevant door and fully lower its window before removing a lamp. Keep the door open throughout the disconnected-lamp work.
- Gently release the original lamp with a suitable tool, keeping it close to the opening until the connector locking tab is released. Do not pull the harness or disconnect by tugging the wire.
- Repeat only at compatible factory lamp positions. Keep the original lamps available and do not treat a working projection alone as proof that all door and window functions are compatible.
Good to Know
Caution
- Model 3 Highland rear doors have no factory puddle-light positions in the described application. Choose the front two-piece set; do not drill a new rear opening or assume a four-piece set adds a factory circuit.
- Keep the door open and lower its window fully before removing a lamp. Do not close the door while the lamp is disconnected, pull on the harness or splice wiring to force a mismatch.
- A puddle-light electrical fault can affect window operation.
- The projected wordmark is an aftermarket feature. No guarantee of vehicle-warranty preservation, automatic-window compatibility or permanent fade resistance is made.
Care
- Keep the projection opening clean with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaning or forcing liquid into the lamp or connector.
- Inspect lamp retention and window operation if illumination changes or a door/window fault appears. Stop using an incompatible lamp and arrange appropriate service.

Choose two for the front doors, or four only when all four doors have compatible factory lamp positions. For the described Model 3 Highland application, choose two front lamps.
Does it guarantee the window drop will be unaffected?
No. Puddle-light electrical faults can also affect windows.
Can I adapt a different connector or drill a new lamp opening?
No. This set is not intended for spliced wiring or altered door openings.
