Camera and Signal Together
One selected assembly includes the camera, side turn-signal light, connector body and mounting housing. The lens and signal strip are visible on the front. Vehicle wiring, tools and calibration service are separate.
Rear Connections and Housing
Each side has its own keyed connectors, mounting tabs and housing. Left and right are defined while facing forward from inside the car; driver-side naming changes between LHD and RHD vehicles.
Installation and Calibration
Replacement follows the HW3.0 side repeater procedure, including the DAS reset and clearing camera calibration. Affected Autopilot features remain unavailable until self-calibration completes.

Instalación
- Follow the corresponding vehicle and side service procedure. Protect the paint, use the required access and service mode steps, release the actual mounting clips and disconnect the connectors without pulling the wiring; replace damaged mounting parts rather than forcing them.
- Install the matching assembly with secure tabs/clips and correctly connected wiring. Perform the applicable DAS reset and clear camera calibration for HW3.0 using the prescribed service routine; do not substitute an HW4 camera-update procedure.
- The camera self-calibrates during manual driving.

Precaución
- HW3.0 hardware only; does not fit HW4 / AI4 or Model 3 Highland.
- A black camera feed or warning can come from wiring or other system faults; have the fault diagnosed before replacing the assembly.
- Installation includes the side-specific procedure, a DAS reset, a camera calibration clear and functional tests. Manual driving is required while calibration is incomplete; affected Autopilot functions are unavailable.
- Vehicle wiring, installation tools and calibration service are not included. Do not alter connectors or force damaged mounting tabs to make a mismatch fit.

- Keep the camera lens and turn-signal surface clean using appropriate vehicle-care methods; avoid abrasive products and obstructing the lens.
- Self-calibration duration depends on road type and conditions. The service guidance notes that it can take up to 100 miles (160 km); this is not a promised completion distance.

Is this the complete camera assembly or only a cover?
It is a complete side-specific assembly with the camera, turn-signal light, connector body and housing. It is not a cosmetic cover.
How do I choose left or right?
Face forward from inside the car. Left is the vehicle's left fender and right is the vehicle's right fender, regardless of steering-wheel position.
Is calibration needed after installation?
Replacement includes a DAS reset, a camera calibration clear and functional tests. Manual driving is required for self-calibration, and affected Autopilot functions remain unavailable until it completes. Road type and conditions affect the distance required.
Is this an HW4 or AI4 upgrade?
No. It is a like-for-like HW3.0 replacement and does not convert the vehicle to newer camera hardware.
