Gut zu wissen
Achtung
- Tesla instructs owners of Model 3 2017–2023 and Model Y 2020–2024 not to apply a screen protector to the touchscreen. This glass is not for those vehicle touchscreens.
- Tesla warns of possible unintended inputs, delayed response, unresponsive touch and electrostatic discharge damage. A 0.33 mm thickness, clear finish or brief successful touch test does not override that instruction.
- Damage caused by installing a screen protector is excluded from Tesla’s warranty. This does not create an additional store policy.
- If an existing protector is associated with abnormal controls, park safely and obtain Tesla and product guidance for removal; do not scrape or force damaged glass against the screen.
Pflege
- Handle loose glass carefully and keep abrasive tools away from the display.
FAQ
What is the difference between HD and Matte?
HD has a glossy-clear appearance. Matte diffuses reflections and can slightly soften perceived sharpness or contrast. Neither finish overrides Tesla’s touchscreen restriction.
What does 2 PCS contain?
Two sheets for the same original front center display shape, rather than one front and one rear protector.
Does the thin glass guarantee normal touch response?
No. Tesla warns that protectors can affect input and cause electrostatic discharge damage, and instructs owners of the listed vehicles not to apply one.
Does it cover Highland or Juniper displays?
Those refreshed displays are outside the listed range. This selection names Model 3 2017–2023.10 and Model Y 2020–2024 screen shapes only.
