Carbon Mirror Overlays in Three Finishes
These dry carbon-fiber overlays add a shaped cover to the existing left and right exterior mirror housings. Choose Glossy Carbon Fiber, Matte Carbon Fiber or Glossy Forged Carbon Fiber in the correct Model Y, Model 3 or Highland option. The pair attaches with pre-applied 3M tape.

Highlights
Glossy Woven Finish
The installed product view shows the glossy weave and the shaped overlay edge.
Glossy Forged Pattern
The forged option has a marbled surface pattern on the left and right covers. Select Glossy Forged Carbon Fiber within the correct vehicle option.
Matte Woven Pair
The matte option provides a lower-sheen woven finish. The paired product view shows separate left and right covers for the exterior housings.
Dry-Fit Before Bonding
The overlays use pre-applied adhesive tape.

Installation
- Dry-fit the left and right covers with tape liners intact.
- Clean the bonding areas using products compatible with the mirror finish and coatings, then dry fully. Follow the supplied tape preparation and temperature requirements.
- Peel a small section of liner, align the cover with the housing and remove the remaining liner while applying even pressure at the intended bonding areas.
- Repeat on the other side. Follow the supplied pressure and cure requirements; avoid water for at least the initial 24 hours or the longer period required by the tape instructions.
Good to Know
Caution
- The Model Y option is for the original pre-Juniper body. Juniper-inspired styling does not mean fitment for the revised Model Y Juniper from April 2025 onward.
- Do not stack over another cover or force a poor fit.
- Use cleaning products compatible with the housing finish and existing coatings. Waxes and coatings can affect bonding.
- Avoid wetting the bond for the initial 24-hour period and follow any longer period in the supplied tape instructions.
- Removal can leave residue or affect the original finish. Use surface-compatible removal methods without prying or pulling on mirror glass or mechanisms.
Care
- Wash gently with mild soap, water and a microfiber cloth after the bond has cured. Avoid abrasive cleaners and direct pressure on overlay edges.
- Inspect adhesion periodically. Have lifted or loose edges addressed rather than relying on extra pressure; use care with washing equipment and follow the tape and finish instructions.
FAQ
Will these fit Model Y Juniper?
The Model Y option is for the pre-Juniper vehicle, listed as 2020–2025.03. It is not for Model Y Juniper from April 2025 onward; the styling name does not extend that fitment.
What is included?
A left and a right cover in the selected finish, with pre-applied 3M adhesive tape and installation instructions.
Do the covers replace my mirror glass?
They are exterior housing overlays. The original mirror glass and assemblies remain in place.
Do I need to drill?
The fitting method uses the pre-applied adhesive tape without drilling. Do not modify the mirror to accommodate an incorrectly fitting cover.
Can I remove them without residue?
Adhesive removal can leave residue or affect the underlying finish. Follow suitable tape-removal and housing-care methods, avoiding prying on glass or moving mechanisms.
