- Test-fit with backing intact.
- Clean and dry only the intended bonding surface as specified for the adhesive and housing finish. Do not remove the original mirror shell or alter its mechanism for this overlay.
- Align the cover and press the complete adhesive footprint.

- Test-fit before removing the backing. Keep mirror glass and full adjustment/folding travel, any lights, housing openings and camera views clear; do not cover functional surfaces or force an incompatible piece.
- Use only surface preparation and curing specified for the supplied adhesive. Paint-safe removal is not promised.
