This left-and-right pair of dry carbon fiber caps fits over the original side mirror caps of Tesla Model 3 and Model Y and changes the entire visible upper surface in a matte or glossy finish. They are self-adhesive overlay caps, not replacement mirror assemblies, so the mirror glass stays in place and the factory cap remains underneath. Installation
- Identify the exact vehicle group and left and right caps. Clean the compatible painted cap surfaces with a vehicle-safe product and allow them to dry.
- Test-fit with adhesive liners intact.
- Remove the liners and bond the caps with even pressure along the perimeter.
- Allow the adhesive to set before washing.

Caution
- Choose the correct vehicle group; mirror-shell shape differs by model and generation.
- Dry-fit each cap with the liner intact; stop if a cap rocks, requires force, leaves an uneven gap or interferes with mirror folding.
- Clean the surface and work on a dry surface at a suitable temperature; press evenly along the full perimeter and let the adhesive set before washing.
- Do not direct close high-pressure water at the cap edges.
- An overlay adds an outer layer. Removal effort and residue vary with surface condition and bond time.
