Installation
- Trial-position the hub in the matching console without drilling. Keep original controls, lids and ventilation unobstructed.
- Route the integrated plug cable without trapping it in a lid or placing it in seat travel or foot space.
- Avoid pulling the retractable cables beyond their limit.
Good to Know
Caution
- A 12 V-only unit is not for a 16 V supply.
- Charging output depends on the power source, connected devices and shared load; all advertised cable maxima are not delivered simultaneously.
- Tesla advises against non-Tesla accessories on the low-voltage outlet because they may interfere with vehicle electronics. Disconnect immediately if alerts, abnormal operation or excessive heat occur.
- Keep liquids away from the ports and fragrance compartment. Use a matching cartridge, avoid direct contact with fragrance material and stop fragrance use if irritation occurs.
- Route the cable clear of console lids, seat travel, controls and foot space. Adjust RGB lighting while parked and use a non-distracting setting.
Care
- Disconnect before wiping with a dry soft cloth. Keep ports dry and do not put fragrance liquid into the electrical openings.
FAQ
Is this connected to the factory USB data port?
No. The hub uses its integrated accessory-socket plug for power. Its connections are charging ports only; it does not support TeslaCam, Sentry, media data or vehicle controls.
Which retractable connectors can I choose?
USB-C + USB-C or Lightning + USB-C. Both variants also have fixed USB-A and USB-C charging ports.
Can I assume a 12 V label matches every refreshed Tesla?
No. The product specification is 12 V. A 12 V-only device is not for a 16 V supply.
Will every port deliver maximum output at once?
Charging is shared across connected devices and depends on the source, supported charging modes and combined load. Stay within the vehicle outlet and exact product ratings.
