Passive Magnetic Head
The magnetic version has a ring-shaped head on a compact dashboard support. Holding strength depends on the phone, case and magnetic interface. This close view shows the holder structure; keep the complete mount and phone away from the front passenger airbag area.
Solar-Assisted Clamp
Solar Clip uses stored energy and usable light for its automatic clamp mechanism. It is a phone-holding style; the solar feature is not a promise of phone charging. The clamp depends on stored charge.
Base and Angle
The base is shaped to the refreshed dashboard group, and the ball joint sets the head angle.

- Phone weight, case thickness, cabin heat and road vibration can affect grip or joint retention.
- The Solar Clip mechanism depends on stored charge and usable light. Follow the actual release instructions; do not force a depleted clamp or assume the solar feature charges the phone.

Is this for the older Model 3 or pre-refresh Model Y?
No. It fits Highland 2024+, Juniper 2025+ and the grouped Model YL 2026+ option only.
Does the solar feature charge my phone?
It supports the Solar Clip mechanism. Do not treat it as a promise of phone charging or assume a phone charger is included.
Will Magnetic hold every phone?
No. Magnetic needs a phone or case with a magnetic interface; thick or non-magnetic cases reduce grip.
Can I place it anywhere across the dashboard?
No. Do not place the mount or phone above or near front airbags or on deployment covers. It must also remain clear of steering movement, road view, vents, original display, alerts and controls.
