Installation
- Pair the left and right covers with the corresponding mirrors, with the adhesive liner still on.
- Remove dust, wax, oil and detailing-product residue from the painted cap and lower edge, then dry it fully.
- Test-fit with the liner intact.
- Peel the liner, keep the cover centered and lower the shaped edges over the factory cap without forcing them.
- Remove the liner and press the adhesive areas evenly.
Good to Know
Caution
- Not for Model X 2020 or earlier, Model S 2012-2013, Model 3 or Model Y.
- Test both covers with adhesive liners intact; stop if an edge reaches the mirror glass or folding pivot.
Care
- Wipe gently with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry the surface afterward.
- Avoid abrasive pads, harsh solvents and concentrated pressure at the perimeter of the overlay.
