Instalación
- Support the trunk lid securely with a proper prop.
- Release the mechanical strut retainers. Not for powered actuators.
- Install the rod and washers in the specified arrangement with both end retainers fully engaged.

- Support the lid securely before releasing a strut; springs and pressurized struts can cause injury.
- Do not substitute this mechanical rod for an electric actuator or force mismatched end fittings into place.
