Access and trim removal vary by Model S generation. Follow the procedure for your vehicle and seat configuration, fit the replacement in the marked airflow direction and close the filter door completely.

Instalación
- Turn off climate control and follow the cabin-filter access procedure for your Model S.
- Remove the relevant trim and filter door.
- Remove the old filter and insert the new filter in the printed airflow direction without crushing the frame or pleats.
- Fully close and seal the filter door, reconnect any panel wiring and refit the access trim.

Precaución
- Use the cabin-filter procedure for your actual Model S. Do not treat this filter as a complete HEPA filtration-system upgrade or as a replacement for a separate underhood HEPA assembly.
- Turn off climate control before servicing. Handle any panel wiring and clips according to the vehicle procedure; stop if access requires unfamiliar electrical or restraint-system work.
- Keep the filter media dry, follow the airflow marking and fully seal the filter door. A filter that must be forced into the housing is the wrong fit.

- Follow the cabin-filter maintenance schedule for the vehicle build and market, and the replacement filter service guidance. Dusty conditions can require earlier inspection.
- Do not wash the disposable filter media. Replace a damaged or heavily contaminated filter; investigate persistent odors or restricted airflow rather than assuming the filter is the only cause.

This is a replacement cabin ventilation filter. It does not add a complete HEPA system or replace a separate underhood HEPA assembly.
Is the replacement procedure the same for every Model S?
No. Use the cabin-filter access, panel handling and airflow orientation procedure for your vehicle generation. There is no single installation time for all three options.
When should I replace it?
Follow the maintenance schedule for your actual Model S and market, together with the replacement filter guidance. Inspect earlier in dusty use; persistent odor or airflow issues may need additional HVAC service.
