Tesla instructs that objects which could interfere with airbag deployment must not be attached or placed on or near front airbags or their covers. The upper and full-kit pieces are not for that area.
A speaker cutout, lighting gap or a photograph does not establish airbag deployment compatibility.
Keep vents, speakers, sensors, ambient-light openings and original controls unobstructed; do not modify the original dashboard, airbag or wiring to accommodate an overlay.

Pflege

Clean the overlay gently with a soft cloth and a cleaner suitable for its finish; avoid abrasive pads and aggressive solvents.
Inspect edges and attachment for lifting or interference. Have an unsuitable installation removed without altering the original dashboard or safety systems.

Which finishes can I select?

Does the upper version leave speakers open?

The updated upper-cover design includes factory-speaker cutouts. This does not establish unchanged audio performance or airbag clearance.

Do photos or a close fit prove that the kit is airbag compatible?

No. Follow Tesla’s restriction on potentially interfering objects on or near front airbags and their covers. The exact installation outline must meet the vehicle instructions before any affected upper/full-kit piece is attached.
