CCS2 DC Station to Tesla/NACS Charging Adapter
This adapter connects a matching CCS2 DC charging handle to a compatible Tesla/NACS vehicle inlet. It is rated for 200A and up to 1000V DC. The vehicle needs a Tesla/NACS inlet with enabled CCS charging support; the connector shape alone cannot enable CCS charging, and the adapter does not guarantee a particular charging speed.

Key Features
-
CCS2 Station Side
The adapter receives the matching CCS Combo 2 DC charging connector.
-
NACS Vehicle Side
The five-contact vehicle end is for the matching Tesla/NACS inlet.
-
DC Charging Use
This is a DC connector adapter, not a J1772 or Type 2 AC adapter.
-
PC and ABS Housing
The adapter combines a black PC/ABS housing with silver-coated copper-alloy contacts.
-
200A Rating
The 200A and up-to-1000V ratings are adapter limits; charging power also depends on the vehicle and station.
-
CCS Hardware Requirement
A matching inlet also needs enabled CCS charging support and compatibility with the exact adapter.
Highlights

Vehicle End
The Tesla/NACS-shaped end inserts into the matching vehicle inlet. European CCS2 or Type 2 vehicle ports are different interfaces.

CCS2 Charging-Handle Connection
The station side receives a matching CCS Combo 2 DC charging handle. It is not the North American CCS1 shape and cannot be used as a Type 2 AC conversion plug.
Ratings Are Not Delivered Charging Power
Charging is limited by the adapter, station and vehicle, including battery voltage, temperature and state of charge. At 200A, 200kW would require 1000V; a lower-voltage vehicle will not receive that power merely by using this adapter.
Compatibility
| Model | Years / Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Model 3 | Tesla/NACS inlet with enabled CCS support. | |
| Model Y | Tesla/NACS inlet with enabled CCS support. | |
| Model S | Tesla/NACS inlet with enabled CCS support. | |
| Model X | Tesla/NACS inlet with enabled CCS support. |
Fits Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X with a Tesla/NACS inlet and enabled CCS support. Does not work with vehicles without enabled CCS support. Model name and the country of use do not establish connector or charging-network compatibility.

Installation
- Inspect both ends for damage, debris, moisture or overheated contacts.
- Fully attach the CCS2 handle to the adapter, then insert the assembly into the vehicle and allow the charge-port latch to engage. Support the heavy cable rather than loading the vehicle inlet.
- Follow the station instructions to start charging. Stop if a fault, loose connection, unusual heat or damage appears.
- To disconnect, stop the charging session, then unlock the port. Support and remove the handle/adapter together, then separate them.
Good to Know
Caution
- Use only the matching DC charging interfaces and actual rated limits. This adapter does not enable unsupported CCS vehicle hardware or provide AC conversion.
- An IP54 enclosure rating does not allow immersion or guarantee safe charging with wet contacts.
Care
- After use, store the adapter dry with its contacts protected. Do not insert tools into contacts or use aggressive solvents; inspect before each charging session.
FAQ
Does it work with every Tesla?
No. The vehicle needs the matching Tesla/NACS inlet, enabled CCS charging support and compatibility with the exact adapter. A CCS2 or Type 2 vehicle inlet is a different interface.
Will it charge my car at 200kW?
No fixed charging power is guaranteed. Power depends on the station and vehicle limits. A 200A rating produces 200kW only at 1000V; lower voltage produces less power at that same current.
Can it connect to CCS1, J1772 or a Type 2 AC handle?
No. The station-side interface is CCS Combo 2 for DC charging; those other connectors or AC uses require different equipment.
How should I stop and unplug?
Stop the session using the vehicle or station. Unlock the port, support the handle and adapter, and remove them.
