Installation
- Connect the strap to the original release; the original release cable, latch and access path stay in place.
- The accessory does not overcome collision damage or a jammed door.

Caution
- For vehicles with a matching factory rear-door mechanical release only. Some earlier Model Y vehicles do not have that release. A model-year label cannot establish the connector or hatch fit.
- The factory cable and latch stay unaltered.
- Use the powered door button normally. Never operate a manual release while moving; use it only when power is unavailable or the situation requires it. The window may not lower automatically, so manual opening can damage glass or trim.
- Keep the pull tab accessible but protected from accidental pulling by passengers, children or door-pocket items. The accessory does not guarantee escape from a damaged or jammed door.
