Internal BLE TPMS Sensor Set for Compatible Tesla Vehicles
This set contains four internal Bluetooth tire-pressure sensors in the selected sensor version and valve finish. The sensor body mounts inside the tire and works with a matching BLE TPMS system.
- 4 sensors
- Internal mounting
- Bluetooth Low Energy
- Black or Silver
Key Features
-
Internal Sensor Design
The pressure sensor sits inside the tire with its valve assembly; it is not an external valve-cap sensor.
-
Bluetooth TPMS
For a matching vehicle Bluetooth TPMS system, rather than the earlier 433MHz radio system or an indirect system without wheel sensors.
-
Four-Sensor Set
Includes four sensors for a four-wheel installation, in the selected version and valve finish.
-
Black or Silver Finish
Choose the valve finish offered for your model; the Sliver selector denotes Silver.
-
Version-Specific Selection
Sensor housing and valve hardware differ between the two option groups.
-
Vehicle Learning
The sensors are registered to the vehicle through an activation or sensor-ID learning process.
Highlights

Internal Sensor and Valve Assembly
The sensor body sits inside the tire. Tire and valve work is required for installation; the pictured unit is not screwed onto the outside of a valve as a replacement cap.
Different Sensor Versions
One option group uses TSL5003 (Black) or TSL5004 (Silver); the other uses TSL5005 (Black) or TSL1737-4 (Silver).

Four Sensors in the Selected Finish
The set contains four sensors. Choose Black or Silver for the valve finish and the required sensor version. The selector spelling Sliver means Silver.
Learning and Software Compatibility
Use the activation and sensor-ID learning process for the actual sensor and vehicle. RDE255 sensors have a manufacturer notice about general TPMS alerts after some Tesla software updates.
Compatibility
| Model | Years / Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Model 3 | 2021+ selection | BLE-equipped vehicle only. |
| Model Y | Matching selection | Actual BLE sensor system required; not an indirect system without wheel sensors. |
| Model S | 2021+ refreshed selection | BLE-equipped refreshed vehicle only; not earlier 433MHz systems. |
| Model X | 2021+ refreshed selection | BLE-equipped refreshed vehicle only; not earlier 433MHz systems. |
The Model Y All option does not override protocol and software requirements.

What's in the Box
- 4×BLE TPMS sensors, selected version and finish
Installation
- Use the correct tire-service procedure to access the internal sensor. Mount it with the manufacturer specified valve parts, sealing arrangement and tightening settings for that version.
- Refit and balance the wheel/tire assembly as required, inflate to the specified cold pressure.
- Complete activation and sensor-ID learning with the appropriate vehicle procedure and service tools.
Good to Know
Caution
- Does not fit 433MHz systems or indirect TPMS without wheel sensors.
- The internal sensors install inside the tire with matching valve parts.
- RDE255 sensors have a manufacturer notice about general TPMS alerts after some Tesla software updates.
Care
- Use the sensor manufacturer instructions for battery end-of-life and disposal; do not open or improvise repairs to the sensor housing.
FAQ
Is this an external valve-cap sensor?
The pictured sensors mount inside the tire and connect to the valve assembly. Installation requires removing the tire from the wheel.
Does every Tesla with a Bluetooth connection use these sensors?
Vehicle Bluetooth connectivity is separate from the wheel-sensor protocol. The set works with BLE TPMS systems only; earlier 433MHz systems and indirect TPMS are excluded.
Do I register the sensors in a generic phone app?
Use the learning procedure for the sensor and vehicle. Bluetooth alone does not establish support for a generic phone app.
Will the RDE255 version work without any software warning?
A manufacturer notice describes general TPMS alerts with RDE255 sensors after some Tesla software updates.
What do Black and Sliver mean?
They identify the offered valve finishes. Sliver denotes Silver; choose the required sensor version separately from the finish.
