A Removable Magnetic Mount for Parked Starlink Mini Setups
This compact mount uses four magnetic feet to attach a Starlink Mini setup to a suitable magnetic metal surface. The center bracket requires a matching Mini stand. For stationary use only. Glass and aluminum roofs do not provide magnetic attachment.

Key Features
-
Mini Mounting Interface
The center bracket is for Starlink Mini with a matching Mini stand.
-
Four Magnetic Feet
Four round contact feet attach the mount to a suitable magnetic metal surface.
-
Removable Attachment
Magnetic attachment allows the mount to be removed from the surface after use.
-
No Roof Drilling
Surface attachment does not require drilling roof holes; the antenna still needs its matching stand connection.
-
Compact Mount
The mount measures approximately 24 × 21 × 5 cm for storage and transport.
-
Parked Setup
For stationary use only; magnetic attachment is not an in-motion rating.
Highlights

Center Bracket for the Mini Stand
The underside view shows the center bracket and four round feet. The Starlink antenna and its stand are separate equipment.

A Removable Parked Setup
The roof example illustrates a temporary stationary setup. Roof contact must be magnetic, stable and clean.
Surface Matters, Not Just the Roof Shape
Magnetic feet need suitable magnetic metal beneath them. Glass roofs, aluminum panels, coatings, curvature and debris can prevent stable attachment. No-drill placement does not guarantee scratch-free paint.
Compatibility
| Model | Years / Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Starlink Mini | Matching Mini stand required; suitable magnetic metal surface; stationary use only. |
For Mini with the matching stand connection. The center bracket is not a universal antenna mount. Does not fit Standard Gen 2, Standard Gen 3 or Performance.

Installation
- Park the vehicle and identify a structurally suitable magnetic metal surface.
- Clean and dry the contact area. Attach the Mini stand and position all four magnetic feet for stable contact.
- Route the power cable without strain or obstruction.
- Remove and stow both the antenna and mount before moving the vehicle.
Good to Know
Caution
- For stationary use only. Remove the antenna and mount before moving the vehicle; magnetic attachment is not an in-motion rating.
- Use only on a suitable magnetic metal surface. Glass, aluminum and other nonmagnetic surfaces do not provide magnetic attachment.
- All four feet must make stable contact on a clean, dry surface. Roof curvature, thin panels, surface coverings or debris can reduce attachment and may damage the finish.
- Use the matching Mini stand and keep cables free from strain. The mount does not establish compatibility with Standard Gen 2 or other antenna types.
- Wind can dislodge a temporary roof setup even while parked.
Care
- Keep contact feet and roof surfaces clean.
FAQ
Will it attach to a glass or aluminum roof?
No. Magnetic attachment requires a suitable magnetic metal surface. A roof that is flat or smooth is not necessarily magnetic.
Can I leave it on while driving?
No. Use this mount only while stationary, and remove the antenna and mount before moving the vehicle.
Does it fit Standard Gen 2 as well as Mini?
Use it only with a matching Starlink Mini stand connection. The center bracket does not establish a Standard Gen 2 mounting interface.
Will it leave the paint untouched?
No-drill attachment avoids roof holes, but trapped dirt, movement or unsuitable contact can damage the finish.
