Paint Pen Kits for Small Cosmetic Touch-Ups
Use a paint pen and the selected preparation tools to touch up small chips or light scratches on a sound painted surface. Available as an Advanced Set of 7 or Pro Set of 5 in the listed paint-code options. Thin coats help control coverage; the final shade and gloss depend on the paint system and panel condition.

Key Features
-
Paint-Code Selection
Each option is a paint code; screen colours and model names do not identify a shade.
-
Advanced Seven-Item Kit
Combines the pen with grinding agent, body putty, scraper, sandpaper, cleaning cotton and a spare refill.
-
Pro Five-Item Kit
Includes the pen, repair wax, sponge, cleaning wipe kit and sandpaper for the selected colour option.
-
Controlled Touch-Up
Apply small amounts in thin layers and follow the coating instructions for drying and cure before further finishing.
-
Preparation Tools
Use the selected kit’s tools only where appropriate for the damage and paint system; protect the surrounding intact finish.
-
Small Cosmetic Areas
Made for limited chips and light scratches on sound paint; not for larger damage, rust, dents or exposed metal.
Highlights

Colour and the Panel
Test a small amount and assess the dried shade and gloss in daylight. Age, repairs and the way metallic or pearl finishes reflect light can affect the appearance, even with a matching listed code.
Two Different Tool Sets
The Advanced kit contains the pen plus filling, scraping, grinding, cleaning, sanding and refill items. The Pro kit contains the pen, repair wax, sponge, wipes and sandpaper. Each colour is offered within its listed kit style; the two packages are alternatives.
Build Coverage in Small Amounts
Prepare only the small damaged area, protect the surrounding finish and follow the paint instructions for thin coats. Surface drying is separate from full cure.
Compatibility
| Model | Years / Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Model 3 | Select by paint code | |
| Model Y | Select by paint code | |
| Model S | Select by paint code | |
| Model X | Select by paint code |
Select by the exact paint code and finish recorded for the actual vehicle, including any repainted panel. Do not choose from model year, sales region or screen swatches alone. PMTG and PMNG remain different options. A separate compatible clear coat may be required for the repair process; neither listed kit includes one.

What's in the Box
- Advanced Set of 7: Paint pen, scratch grinding agent, body putty, small scraper, sandpaper, dry/wet cleaning cotton and spare refill
- Pro Set of 5: Paint pen, scratch repair wax, sponge, cleaning wipe kit and sandpaper
Installation
- Not for deeper damage or exposed metal.
- Read the product handling and paint-system instructions. Clean and dry the repair area using compatible products, protecting the adjacent intact finish; use abrasive or filling materials only when appropriate.
- Test a small amount on a separate sample and view the dried colour, gloss and metallic or pearl appearance in daylight. Stop if the result is unsuitable.
- Apply controlled thin coats. Allow the required drying between coats and full cure before washing or finishing; use a compatible separate clear coat only if the repair process requires it.
Good to Know
Caution
- Kit style and colours are linked: Advanced offers 3BK00/PPSB/PMTG/PPSW/PPMR/PN01; Pro offers PX02/PB00/PN00/PMSS/PR01/PMNG. PMTG and PMNG are separate listed options despite the shared Midnight Silver Metallic name.
- Follow the paint and prep-product labels for ventilation, handling, compatible surfaces, drying, cure and disposal. Keep containers closed and away from children; use appropriate protection for the actual products.
- Avoid sanding, grinding or applying putty to an intact finish without the appropriate repair knowledge. Not for rust, exposed metal, peeling clear coat, large marks or panel damage.
Care
- Keep the repair clean and dry while the coating cures. Surface-dry does not mean ready for washing, sanding or polishing.
- Avoid pressure washing and aggressive polishing on a fresh repair. Follow the coating instructions for subsequent care.
- Store the sealed pen and repair materials according to their actual labels; wipe the applicator and close the cap as instructed after use.
FAQ
Are all colours available in both kit styles?
Advanced offers 3BK00, PPSB, PMTG, PPSW, PPMR and PN01. Pro offers PX02, PB00, PN00, PMSS, PR01 and PMNG. Select the actual kit-and-code combination; the two Midnight Silver Metallic codes are separate options.
Will the same code make the repair invisible?
A listed code helps choose the paint option, but age, panel repairs, preparation, layer thickness and the metallic or pearl finish affect the result. Test the dried colour and gloss before using it on a visible area.
Is a clear coat included or replaced by the repair wax?
Neither listed kit includes clear coat. Repair wax and grinding agent are separate preparation or finishing materials. If the paint system requires clear coat, obtain a compatible product and follow its own instructions.
How long should the paint dry before washing?
Follow the selected paint instructions and actual temperature, humidity and layer thickness. The approximate ten-minute surface-dry guidance does not establish full cure or readiness for washing or polishing.
