Style 2 — Larger Shaped Guards
The alternative style has a larger molded profile with slotted lower openings. Match its shape and retaining arrangement to the actual vehicle; it is not simply a cosmetic copy of the compact cover.
Inspection Still Matters
The guards collect leaves at the channel opening; remove collected debris rather than forcing it down the channel.

- Open the front trunk and identify the left and right guards. Remove loose leaves and clean and dry the attachment area.
- Follow the actual selected kit’s instructions for its tabs, retaining features and adhesive, where supplied. Do not force the guard, drill additional holes or obstruct the drainage route.
- Follow any supplied adhesive setting instructions before water exposure.

- Keep the drainage route open. Inspect before and after periods of heavy leaf fall and remove accumulated debris; the guard itself can collect material and does not guarantee unrestricted drainage or prevention of water damage.
- Use only the matching attachment procedure for the selected style. If adhesive is supplied, follow its surface-preparation and setting instructions; keep adhesive away from the drainage openings.
