A Pair of Scented Filters
The pleated cartridges include central insert holders for fragrance released through the ventilation airflow. Fit both filters correctly in the interior HVAC housing; these are separate from the vehicle’s underhood HEPA filter system.
Refresh the Fragrance
When the scent fades, replace the fragrance insert using the supplied cartridge instructions. Refreshing the scent does not reset the filter maintenance interval or restore a loaded, dirty or damaged filter.

Installation
- Match both new cartridges and insert clearance to the original housing, then install them in the correct stack and airflow direction for the vehicle.
- Close the filter housing securely and restore removed trim and connectors before operating the ventilation system.
Good to Know
Caution
- Cabin-filter access varies by production version and can involve footwell trim, electrical connectors and a screw or cover tabs. Use the applicable vehicle instructions; do not pull on wires or force covers. A universal three-minute tool-free glove-box swap is not supported.
- Install both filters with the airflow direction specified for the vehicle and filter. For the Model Y procedure, the arrows face toward the rear of the vehicle, not downward.
- No tested HEPA efficiency, allergen protection or health benefit is stated. This replacement is not a factory HEPA-system upgrade.
- Fragrance intensity and tolerance vary. Stop using the scent inserts if they cause discomfort, and keep loose inserts away from children and pets.

- Replace scent inserts when the fragrance fades; continue filter inspection and replacement on the vehicle’s applicable maintenance schedule.
- Keep filters and inserts dry during storage. Do not soak the filter media or add loose fragrance material to the HVAC housing.

Does replacing the scent renew the filter?
No. Scent refilling and filter maintenance are separate. Continue to replace dirty, damaged or scheduled-for-replacement cabin filters.
Is this the underhood HEPA filter assembly?
No. This pair replaces the interior cabin-filter cartridges. It is separate from the underhood HEPA filter assembly and does not add the vehicle’s factory filtration system.
