Clear Mirror Finish
Choose Clear for an untinted mirror appearance. Each finish option supplies a left-and-right heated pair with backing plates; the existing housing and adjustment motor stay on the vehicle.
Fixed Blue Tint
Blue Tint has a blue-toned appearance that stays the same in changing light. It does not replace electrochromic auto-dimming; select an appropriate electrochromic part if that function must be retained.
Heater Terminals and Backing Plates
The two metal terminals connect the glass heating element, and the circular backing attaches to the mirror adjuster. The terminals are for heating only, not a dimming circuit.

Installation
- The glass fits a sound housing and adjustment motor.
- Wear eye protection and cut-resistant gloves. Follow the corresponding mirror-glass removal procedure, support the glass and release the tabs with a plastic trim tool without pulling on wiring.
- Connect only the two heater leads to the matching heater terminals; the separate original dimming connector is not part of the heater circuit.
- Align and seat the backing on the mirror adjuster, then set the mirror view.

Caution
- Heating-only glass does not retain electronic auto-dimming. Choose electrochromic glass if that feature is required.
- The set does not repair a broken housing, adjustment motor or folding mechanism.

- Clean the mirror face with a soft cloth and a method compatible with the selected finish.

Does each option include both vehicle sides?
Yes. Clear or Blue Tint includes one left and one right heated glass insert with backing plates. Left and right mean the vehicle sides when facing forward, not the steering-wheel position.
Does Blue Tint darken automatically at night?
No. It is a fixed blue finish. Choose electrochromic glass if automatic dimming is essential to your repair.
Is this a genuine Tesla part?
