- Not for the Tesla North American Gen 3 Wall Connector; its instructions prohibit adapters and conversion adapters.
- Tesla North American Gen 2 and Gen 3 Mobile Connector instructions limit their vehicle use to NACS vehicles and prohibit other vehicle use. Do not treat the generic Mobile Connector listing as permission to convert them to J1772.
- Use only where the exact AC equipment and vehicle manufacturers permit this conversion. Destination charging is a location description, not permission for every charger generation; physical fit or an All Vehicles setting does not override equipment restrictions.
