The original padded lid remains underneath. The molded cover changes the visible surface to real carbon fiber and creates a direct barrier between daily contact and the factory upholstery.
Molded Locating Fit
The custom-fit underside seats around the factory lid and uses its molded locating structure for retention, with no tape, glue, drilling or permanent modification.
Three Carbon Looks
Glossy shows a deeper woven pattern with more reflection, Matte is a quieter woven finish, and Forged is an irregular, marbled pattern rather than a uniform weave. The photo illustrates the matte woven finish.
Fitment by Generation
It fits the original center-armrest design of Model 3 (2017–2023) and Model Y (2020–2025.02). It does not fit Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper or the refreshed Model Y.

- Clean and fully dry the lid so nothing is trapped between the upholstery and the cover.
- Orient the cover and line up its front opening with the factory release area.
- Press progressively around the cover until the molded locating points are fully seated.
