Attachment and Clearances
Use the attachment instructions supplied with the exact trim. Leave the original airbag cover and gap untouched and keep the scroll wheels free to move; do not fit a piece that bridges a gap or restricts movement.

- Tesla warns against objects on or near airbags or their covers that could interfere with deployment, including steering wheel covers and decals. Do not fit trim that touches, bridges or restricts the airbag cover or its surrounding gap; follow the vehicle-specific installation requirements.
- Keep the original airbag module and cover intact. Do not remove, modify or attach adhesive to them for this trim; a center opening alone does not establish airbag deployment compatibility.
- Does not fit Highland, Juniper, yokes or replacement wheels.
- Follow the attachment method supplied with the exact trim. Do not force the piece, add makeshift adhesive or install loose trim; stop if a scroll wheel, horn function or cover movement is restricted.
Care
- Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth and dry gently. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and soaking.
- Do not pry against the center cover or dismantle the airbag module for removal.

Does this replace the steering wheel or airbag cover?
It is decorative trim for the surrounding spokes. The original wheel, airbag module and center cover stay in place.
Is the carbon option real carbon fiber?
Glossy Carbon Fiber Texture provides a carbon-pattern finish on ABS trim.

Will it fit a later or replacement wheel?
