Installation
- Park the vehicle, unplug the charging cable, and clean and dry the body and cover. Close the doors, windows, hood and trunk.
- Identify the front and rear and use the orientation specified by the cover instructions. Drape it gently from front to rear without dragging grit across the paint.
- Align the mirror pockets and edges. Use only the fastening method supplied for the exact cover, keeping fasteners away from painted surfaces. Do not stretch the fabric to force a poor fit.
- Remove the cover completely before charging, vehicle access or driving.

- Remove this cover before plugging in or charging the vehicle. Tesla permits only Tesla-approved car covers while the vehicle is plugged in because other covers can impair battery cooling.
- Use only on a stationary, unoccupied vehicle.
- Cover only clean, dry surfaces. Trapped grit, moisture or movement in wind can affect the paint; inspect beneath the cover regularly.
- Fasten the cover with the supplied fastening method.
